DPF. CHECK AND DIAGNOSIS

The strict international directives imposed by the authorities oblige manufacturers to develop diverse and complex technologies to reduce and control the polluting emissions of exhaust gas. It is therefore very important to understand the check and diagnosis processes for the various elements that make up the anti-pollution system of a vehicle. This video-training will enable the student to learn the necessary protocols for carrying out the processes relating to the particulate filter (DPF) check

PROTOCOL PASS-THRU

For vehicles to follow the proper maintenance and thus meet the regulations, it is necessary for any repair shop to have unrestricted access to information regarding the repair and maintenance of anti-pollution systems through a standardized format. All necessary resources will be provided through websites, with quick and easy access and at a similar format to that of the dealer.

In order to make all this possible, the Pass-Thru or J2534 communication protocol was created, to allow to connect that complies with any vehicle the Euro V or higher standard to the official server of the brand through a multibrand diagnostic device meets the specifications of that esta technology.

TPMS PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

The tire pressure detection system also called TPMS for its acronym in English Tire Pressure Monitoring System is a device that is included in the active safety systems of the vehicle and serves to monitor tire pressure and alert the driver in case that is not correct.

FUEL SYSTEM

The fuel system is a Bosch CRS 3.1 and the engine control unit ECM is responsible for managing it, advancing the injection or providing the right fuel volume for each situation. The injection pressure is regulated independently of the engine revolutions and for a smooth operation, developing an injection pressure of up to 1,600 bar, while the injectors, piezoelectric type, are activated by the unit accordingly. The injection phases include an auxiliary pre-injection to reduce the noise of combustion and mechanical loading, and in vehicles fitted with a particulate filter DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), a post-injection is carried out for the regeneration of the latter.
